Sam & Kurt Asia Tour

Always a big fan of Kurt Hugo Schneider & Sam Tsui since they first release on youtube. When watching one of their latest video one day, they release news on their asia tour and I immediately went to Sistic website to get my tickets! It was only the 2nd day after Sam & Kurt release the news on their asia tour but cat 1 seats are almost fully sold out already. Couldn't care more, afraid that I wouldn't be able to get a ticket, I decide not to ask anyone and just buy a ticket and attend the concert alone.

Cat 1 tickets come with the meet & greet session. No need think any further, just buy. Plus I would get a better view of their performance too :D The concert was awesome. The setup was simple. No fanciful stage decorations, no extra, no dancer blah blah blah, only the necessaries. A drummer, a guitarist/bassist, Sam & Kurt. No one else!

Sam's singing was awesome even though he was singing live. I know of people who can't sing live, and it kind of turn out really bad during a concert.

When they performed Cups - Pitch Perfect! 

It was great. No accidents, no cups flying and not forgetting the great singing too.

Their encore performance was my favourite song, don't want an ending, and if I'm not wrong it was one of their first original songs put up on youtube.

Though encore usually leads to the end, it's not the end for us, cat 1 tickets holder yet. We still have the meet & greet session, oh yeah~ Was so lucky to be the first for the meet & greet photo taking session, purely lucky. I couldn't ask for more!

Smiling from ear to ear, had a wonderful night with these guys and their great performance. Oh ya, plus the great big hug during the meet & greet session. I feel like I have entered another realm, alright I'm just exaggerating. Haha. The meet & greet session didn't leave us home empty handed. We were even given their signed poster. Awww, what a gift.

Their only performance in Singapore. I'm super happy that I went. Super glad that I manage to still get tickets for the first row seats though I was a day or two late. I do hope they'll come back to Singapore for another performance soon as I doubt I will miss it.

My Date With The Phantom

Super excited for a date! Been quite awhile since I felt this way.
Getting myself beautifully dress so that I could enjoy my night, my date with the Phantom of The Opera!

The long awaited night finally arrive and I'm going to watch the Phantom of The Opera at Marina Bay Sands (MBS) with my dearest who got the tickets. I remember how excited I was when I heard the news of them coming to perform in Singapore. But I got so busy that I don't really have the time to get the tickets. Thanks to my bf who got the tickets if not I might not be able to watch it due to sold out of tickets probably?

The hall was full. I suppose every show is full house. The Phantom of The Opera is a really famous play/musical. People from all over the world knows about it, a little or so, or if they don't they would at least have heard of the title. 

The cast were really good. But my favourite was the phantom who was played by Brad Little. I feel that it's even better Christine who was played by Claire Lyon. This musical really brings me goosebumps and a little tears. Really fantastic musical with good cast.

The phantom, the angel of the music. The power of the musical, sang by Brad Little. Really touching, emotional & deep voice. You made the musical complete!

My favourite scene in the whole musical! The Masquerade!!

I've always love Masquerade no matter where I see it. I have always dream on attending a masquerade for as long as I have lived. I even wish I was born in the era where masquerade was still around. If I didn't remember wrongly, it was my 21st birthday which I wanted to plan a masquerade as a birthday party for myself but somehow due to some considerations, I threw the plan away. Maybe I shall do that when I reach 30!

What I love about masquerade are the beautiful dress and mask that are worn. A mysterious party of uncertainty of who is behind that beautiful mask. A night where you can really be yourself and enjoy at the same time. Dressed in the most beautiful dress, with the best ambience, dancing across the hall. Maybe I should have a masquerade wedding when I get married. I MUST BE MAD. Alright Dove, time to wake up! Masquerade no longer happen in our era :(

Lastly, not to forget the surprises from my dearest! My favourite chocolate munchies + roses. 

Thanks for all the lovely stuff that you have done. What else can I ask for or what is they left for me to ask for? You're just so perfect for me already.
