Dec, First Half
First half of December has past. Time passes so quickly when you're having holiday~
Just another half a month and it's time to go back to school to start my second year. Shall enjoy my remaining holiday before I go back to school and start on all my core modules.
Looking back at my calendar for the first half of December, I haven't been doing much as compared to November. Probably just went away for awhile with a few classmates for a gathering cum getaway. Felt like we haven't seen each other for a very long time, the last time was on the day of our last paper I guess.
Christmas is coming in a week time, are you prepared for the gift exchange or thought of how you gonna spend this day?

A lady who changed me
When I was in primary school, I was a very very mischievous kid. One with seriously a lot of problem that teachers really have a headache with.
Let me recall what I did when I entered primary school. When I was in primary one, I was like any other primary one kids. Really obedient, shy & quiet. But as I proceed to primary two, everything changes.
When we're given a homework, I throw them in the classroom behind the metal cabinet so that when I'm home mummy can't find any homework that I have. When it's recess time, I sit on the latch of the third level like though enjoying the view, I kind of like it though but I scare the hell out of my principal, teachers & prefects. I mean I wasn't thinking of doing anything silly but I guess they read it that way. After that few incidents, I have to be followed around by a prefect every recess time. When I'm in class, I sleep. When any teacher wanna punish me, I would gladly just walk out of the classroom and sit outside. One hell of a rebellious kid in primary two.
Most of my teachers gave up hope on me. My mum get all the complain without fail every week. Either homework missing, not being a good kid in school and any other reason, there's always a complain, every week. Teachers try to be nice to me and thinking hopefully I would be nice to them and not give them so much headache, but I guess it didn't work out.
But there was this particular teacher who didn't give up hope on me. She didn't categorise me as a different student though I'm super mischievous. She treated me like how she would treat any of her other students. She didn't give up hope on me either. Knowing that I have problem paying attention in class, she took the time out to give me 1 to 1 so that I could learn better. She did that without fail everything she read an "I don't get that" face on me or whenever she see me dozing off in class.
Slowly I start like to her, I start to like going to class, and slowly, I realize she also changes my behaviour. I turn into someone who isn't much of a headache to the teachers anymore. I become more cooperative. She showed me so much patient, so much attention, care & love at that point of time when most of the teachers thought that I was already hopeless.
Till this day, I'm grateful towards her. When I completed my primary two and proceed to primary three, she no longer teaches in my school anymore. I was glad that I met her and was thought by her. She has made such a big influence in me.
And there is one thing that is such a coincident.
My name: 群惠
Her name: 慧群
Same han yu ping yin but direct flip of the words.
Ms Tan, thanks for all the attention, time & care you had for me.
Thanks for not giving up on me like how others did. You made me a better person.
I believe everyone would meet into someone who would changed them into a better person.

July, First Half
Guess I've been away for awhile. First half of July has been busy for me, especially when I'm not in perfect health. No worries though, I've seen my doctor and am on medication already. I seldom willingly visit the doctor, but this time round I did. The pain was terrible at first, but now it's getting better. Guess, doctors does do their thing still though :p Thanks to those who wanted to visit me when they knew I wasn't feeling really well. But I'm not that sick that I'm bed ridden yet. I can still move around, go out and meet people and carry on with my regular activities
School has started and I'm in my 2nd semester already! First week of lesson wasn't exactly anywhere near interesting, it was dead boring. Guess this semester, none of the module are gonna interest me. I've got all my sub modules this semester, no core module! This is so bad. I was so looking forward to taking my core module but they gave me none of it. At least last semester I still had one of the core module to hang on to. For this semester, I wonder what I'm gonna hold on to. Econs? Stats? Marketing? Gosh. Hopefully, I won't have to be struggling this semester as last semester was pretty smooth.
Recently started reading books, ebooks, and I realise I actually enjoy reading. If you have any book to recommend do let me know! This might shock a few of you, but yea, I really do enjoy reading nowadays.
Weather hasn't been good around this time of the year. A few of my dear friend has fall sick. Please take care and drink more of water.
I'll be back for more updates! xoxo

Graduation (SP)
I've never look this formal ever since my final year project (FYP) for my diploma. I kinda look better in this now compared to during my FYP time but my butt shrunk! So the back of skirt shows lines, no nice! Formal wear for formal occasion. Whuuuut is it? o.O
After all the stopping and deferment of studies in between the years for I can't recall how long, I finally graduated from Singapore Polytechnic (SP) for my diploma feeling like an old student. Its been more than half a years since I step back into SP and suddenly I have to go back and attend my graduation ceremony, felt totally awkward. Many of my friends did not attend graduation as they felt weird having to go back to SP after quite some time jus for the graduation ceremony, while for some of the guys, they're stuck in camp for NS! So sad :(
Why every student only got 2 tickets? That's like not enough! :( Only 2 out of 4 of my family could attend the ceremony, but I understand that there's seats constrain so no choice I guess. Daddy and my little brother came for my graduation. Thinking that it would be a long and draggy graduation ceremony (Can you imagine the amount of speech & names to be called out), I was busy camwhoring but surprising the whole ceremony ended within 1.5hours.
After the ceremony, we were actually rushing off for dinner as all 3 of us were famished! So just a few photos before we zoomed off.
我终于毕业了!
With my little brother. He's already taller then me at the age of 17 only, can't imagine when he reach 21.
The man I always respected & love: my daddy!
I couldn't recall the amount of time I took photo with my dad. I guess the nearest was during my 21st birthday.
I disappointed my dad through my poly years, wanting to quit school, failing on my attendance every semester, failing & retaking modules as I didn't had the mood to study. But after my deferment period, I've made up my mind to stop disappointing this man who put so much hope in me and wants the best for me.
Dear Dad (if you ever sees this), I've finally graduated! Not wanting to disappoint you and I did it. Thanks for believing and supporting me through though I've said really hurtful stuff. Currently I'm pursuing the next level of education, in my degree, and I wish we'll have the same photo taken 1.5years later. I Love you!

A photo with daddy and my little brother.
Realize that when we smile all our eyes are near to just being a straight line, it's in the family :p
Thanks to Captain Ang for all the encouragement and putting through with all my nonsense holding on so tight to me, fighting with me just to make sure I don't drop out of my diploma program. Also not forgetting all the lecturers who gave me crash course when nearing exams date and also those that texted me to ensure that I attend their lesson. I wouldn't have been able to get through all this without you all. A big thanks to you all!

School Life
Time pass so quickly. A quarter of the year has already ended and now I'm in the forth month of the year already. OMG! Exams are also coming! 8 more days to my first paper. Though feeling the pressure but still able to cope. Of course I wanna score well, I mean who doesn't want right?
Coming near to the end of a semester, after going through so many assignments, group work & presentation, I've met real good group mates. Guess one of my project group mates were all one of a kind. We're enjoying ourself at the back of the class when our presentation turn is next up. Instead of feeling all nervous and afraid of the Q&A session that's coming for us, we were all happily making jokes and laughing. We even predicted the questions that are gonna be coming and had it all prepared on who's gonna be answering it.
Hopefully for the upcoming project groups, we can all be so crazy. It sure is some good time spent together and also we do produce quality work :D
Life is getting better. New people, new smiles, new work everything seem new. Maybe even new love? :p I lost my smile for quite awhile some time ago, along with some other passion I have for other stuff, but I feel that I'm slowly getting it back. I'm glad it's all coming back. Finally understood that it's not how much you put down for that one person, but how much that one person is willing to accept that part of you. If one doesn't even wanna accept it, I should forget it and continue living the way I want. Do not change the way you live for the one who does not understand who you are.
